Leederville-based private boutique property development manager Origin Projects and its managing director Peter Hill are facing legal action over allegedly failing to repay $2.1 million in loans.
According to a writ filed in the Supreme Court last week, the legal action was launched by Dagmara Gilarski, the administrator of the trust for Perth businessman Paul Blinco.
In the writ, Ms Gilarski claims Peter Roger Christopher Hill was advanced loans totaling $2.8 million between 2010 and 2016 as part of a verbal agreement between the two parties in August 2010.
But she claims the unpaid balance of the loans stands at $2.1 million.
Ms Gilarski has launched legal action against Mr Hill, Origin Projects, and two subsidiaries linked to the development estates the company is managing, Mataro Properties and Madeley Rise.
According to the writ, Ms Gilarski has sought a court order that would force Mr Hill or the companies named to repay the amount outstanding, as well as interest and costs.
Origin is currently managing the development of five estates between Mandurah and Geraldton, projects Origin claims have a combined value of more than $528 million.
Among them is Geraldton Heights, a $500 million master-planned community with 2,500 home sites, a new town centre, landscaped parks and schools.
Mr Hill has been contacted for comment.
