Online claims processor launched

AN ONLINE claims processing system has been launched by Perth-based Plexus International.

Claims Information Network 2000 is an Internet-based goods replacement service designed to provide insurance companies and loss adjusters with the means to source lost or stolen items.

A Plexus spokesman said CIN 2000 incorporated a generic search engine, reports, contemporary data input and interactive fraud detection software.

Aon Risk Services has acquired exclusive rights to CIN 2000 in the UK. A spokesman said it would save the insurance industry millions of dollars.

Aon Risk Services managing director Allan Gribben said the company would introduce CIN 2000 to its international colleagues.

Plexus managing director Ray Hammond said the system was a step forward in the streamlining of business to business online claims processing.
