Oil row widens WA-Canberra gulf

The gulf between the Western Australian government and Canberra continues to widen, with state mines and petroleum minister Norman Moore writing to local oil and gas companies for support to block plans for a single national oil regulator.

Here we go again. Federal Government running state matters out of Canberra. What a good idea to set up a majot bureaucracy in Canberra where of course they "KNOW IT ALL!" Why don't we just shut up shop and let them run everything? That is the current Government's resolve! It is about time WA said no, so let's support the Liberal Government for standing up to these broken down Union Secretaries.
