Nuheara has entered into a retail partnership with Widex Australia for its IQbuds to be sold in Bloom Hearing clinics in Australia.
Bloom Hearing provides audiological services in more than 240 locations in Australia and is 100 per cent owned by Widex, one of the world’s largest and leading hearing aid manufacturers.
"The partnership with Widex helps to endorse our vision but more importantly demonstrates that we have a point of difference within the overall hearing assistance and hearing technology markets,” Nuheara CEO Justin Miller said.
Nuheara expects IQbuds to be available in select Bloom Hearing clinics in Australia from June 16 2017, with other countries and regions positioned to follow throughout the remainder of 2017.
“IQbuds are a multi-functional hearing device that solve a range of problems for differing generations," Mr Miller said.
"With users of IQbuds now ranging in age from eight to 80 years of age, we believe it’s important to offer multiple and diversified sales channels to meet the expectations of our growing consumer base.
"Accordingly, the fullservice model of fitting and configuration provided by Bloom Hearing varies significantly to the online or instore purchasing experiences of consumer electronics retail.
"However, both channels play an important role in IQbuds global expansion and success."
