North Korea sanctioned over test

North Korea last week brought the world’s group of nuclear armed powers to eight members, when it conducted an underground nuclear weapons test. The state’s actions incited international condemnation, with the United Nations Security Council introducing sanctions against North Korea on the weekend. Australia has supported the sanctions and declared it will ban North Korean ships from its ports.
