Nkwe hits platinum

PLATINUM explorer Nkwe Platinum has hit pay dirt on its first phase exploration program on the Bokfontein prospect.

The results include two diamond drill holes with platinum group mineral intersections of 5.62 grams per tonne over 2.12 metres from 80 metres and 1.38 grams per tonne over 2.05 metres from 25 metres.

Platinum group metal horizons were identified in four surface trenches.

At listing Bokfontein had an inferred resource of 1.1 million tonnes over a strike length of 1,100 metres at 5.2 grams per tonne.

These results lift the prospect to a total indicated and inferred resource of 1.3 million tonnes.
