Western Power’s newly appointed managing director Stephen van der Mye will take up his new position late next month.
Dr van der Mye has been managing director of the eastern states' National Electricity Market operator, the National Electricity Market Company (NEMMCO), since 1997.
Prior to this he worked in international and domestic finance, including with business and industry bank Queensland Industry Development Corporation.
