Prominent local architect Rod Mollet has been appointed president of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (WA Chapter). The director of national firm Silver Thomas Hanley, Mr Mollet has been involved in numerous projects within the healthcare architecture and health planning areas, including redevelopment of the St John of God Hospital in Subiaco and Murdoch, and the Hollywood Hospital redevelopment in Nedlands. His design portfolio also includes the Burswood International Resort Casino. Mr Mollet has been a member of the Architects Board of WA for more than 30 years.
