Recently appointed chief executive officer of HBF, Rob Bransby, is the latest senior businessman to demonstrate his support for the arts by becoming a councillor of the WA chapter of Australia Business Arts Foundation (AbaF). A highly regarded strategic planner, Mr Bransby is joining a blue-chip group of WA business leaders including the CEOs of Wesfarmers, Freehills, Alcoa, BankWest, Mirvac (WA), WA Newspapers and Hawaiian. As AbaF councillors they promote the benefits of private sector support for the arts. Mr Bransby has nearly two decades of experience with financial organisations in both WA and New South Wales. Before joining HBF he was chief executive officer of Medfin Australia Pty Ltd, a subsidiary company of the National Australia Bank.
