PAUL Wilmot has been appointed to the board of the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency, the body that ensures nursing homes meet appropriate standards.
Mr Wilmot recently retired as the CEO of Anglican Homes after 15 years.
He was also State and national president of Aged and Community Services Australia from 1993 to 1996 and chairman of the International Association of Homes and Services for the Ageing.
His work in the aged care sector followed a long and distinguished military career.
