Jenny Seabrook has been appointed a non executive director of West Australian Newspaper Holdings effective from Friday February 3.Mrs Seabrook has a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Western Australia and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.She has been an executive director of corporate advisers Gresham Partners and Gresham Advisory Partners since 1998 and is also deputy chairman and non-executive director of Western Power Corporation, where she chairs the organisation’s audit and risk management committee.She also sits on numerous other committees, including the Takeovers Panel, the WA Government’s Pearling Industry Advisory Committee and the Securities Industries of Australia’s Markets Policy Group.Previously Mrs Seabrook has been a director of Hartley Poynton, AlintaGas and a member of the joint Princess Margaret and King Edward Hospital Board, as well the council of Edith Cowan University.
