CLYDE Bevan is to be the new chairman of Lotterywest.
His appointment takes effect following the completion of Kevin Campbell’s three-year term in the role.
Mr Bevan is an award-winning restaurateur and has worked as a small business consultant and as a member of the tourism council.
He currently runs Friends.
Freda Crucitti has also accepted a position on the Lotterywest Board and will replace Corin Lamont, whose three-year term also expires.
Ms Crucitti is client services director of accounting and financial planning firm Tony Tilenni and Associates.
She is also a registered psychologist who has worked for the Disability Services Commission and the Authority for Intellectually Handicapped Persons.
Under Mr Campbell’s chairmanship the sale of Lotterywest products raised more than $1.4 billion in revenue from which the organisation provided a total of $413 million in funding for hospitals, sports, the arts and community organisations in Western Australia.
