PERTH-BASED marketing company Messages On Hold is now offering a web audio service to complement the visual aspects of its web site.
“[Web audio] directs people to one particular aspect of the web page,” managing director Kym Illman said. “It paints a beautiful image in their mind straight away.”
He said web sites coupled with sound had a far greater impact on potential clients than those with visuals alone, a belief supported by the substantial leap in queries about web audio since it was added to the Messages On Hold site.
The company has offered web audio for about six months, but had recently started to more aggressively market the product.
Messages On Hold recently relocated to larger premises and Mr Illman said the new offices gave the company the opportunity to extend its current operations.
The new facility takes up around 1,300 square metres in office space, which has allowed an extra recording studio to be built.
The studio is large enough for a band to record in, and Mr Illman said the studio could be rented out for this purpose in the future.
Mr Illman said the recent move was the first step in the company’s new seven-year plan, which included continued growth within Australia and Singapore, as well as expansion to the UK.
