New player in infotainment

AFTER eighteen years of writing, producing, directing and filming more than 5,000 commercials for Channel 7, Ron Reddingius has formed his own production company, Dingo Is Talent.

Mr Reddingius’ first project is a program for Channel 7 called Home In WA, commencing on 15 April.

Described as a “soft infomercial-style” program, it follows the tradition of programs such as Better Homes & Gardens. Mr Reddingius said done well, “infomercials work”.

“I consider Channel Nine’s The Real Estate Show to be ‘hard infomercial’,” Mr Reddingius said.

“Our program will still contain retail messages but in a more toned-down manner.”

Mr Reddingius will continue to offer TV commercial services.
