New partnership for Clough

A GROWING market in deepwater expertise has spawned a new international subsea construction company, with local engineering specialist Clough forming one half.

The partnership, with Aker Kvaerner subsidiary Aker Marine Contractors, will operate out of headquarters in Oslo but also run offices in Perth, Aberdeen and Houston. Known as CASP (Clough-AMC Subsea Partnership), the business will utilise two Boa Offshore dynamically positioned deepwater vessels – Deep C1 and Deep C2.

One of these will be permanently based in the North Sea.
