Peter Nettleton
has become a partnernational taxation and superannuation
firm Brett Davies.
Mr Nettleton has been with Brett Davies
since 2000.
Prior to this he ran his own general law practice, initially in
Como and later in Fremantle.
Mr Nettleton commenced a law degree while working as an
income tax assessor with the Australian Taxation Office in
Adelaide in 1975.
He later worked in the Defence legislation branch in Canberra
and travelled overseas, before arriving in Perth in the late
1970s.
Mr Nettleton then spent two years with Parker & Parker as
conveyancer, and four with the ATO again, becoming an
appeals officer before entering the private sector again as
commercial litigator.
He is now specialising in estate planning, business succession
planning, international taxation, and trusts.
Mr Nettleton is a past president of the WA Bush Poets &
Yarnspinners Association and has been a committee member
since the BPYA began seven years ago.
He has also been a member on committees associated with
community education, public radio, and amateur theatre.
