New face on ACTL board

AUSTRALIAN Cancer Technology Limited has made another board appointment, Katherine Wood-thorpe.

Dr Woodthorpe is a board member of two other listed biotechnology companies, Agenix Limited and MicroMedical Industries, manages corporate advisory firm People & Innovation and is on the boards of Insearch Limited and Australian Business Foundation Limited.

Dr Woodthorpe is also a member of the Tax Concession Committee of the IR&D Board and the Expert Panel of the Co-operative Research Centre Programme and has a PhD in chemistry.

During the past year, Australian Cancer Technology has appointed Dr Roger Aston as a director and Professor Robyn Ward as chief scientific consultant.

Frank Daly, Dr Alastair Cowden and Brett Dickson remain as company chairman, managing director and company secretary and director, respectively.
