Two penthouses with million dollar views have lived up to developer’s expectations in the Perth inner city residential property market.
The two opulent apartments are part of the third stage of the launch by HIH/FAI Property Services of its Mounts Bay Village development along Mounts Bay Road.
FAI Property Services’ WA manager John Tognolini said one of the penthouses sold for $1 million, while the other was under offer at $920,000.
The exclusive penthouses, located on the top floor of the nine-storey Boronia Apartments building, will have private rooftop terraces providing uninterrupted panoramic views across the city, the Swan River and Kings Park.
“The results of our research show there is a demand for larger, premium quality accommodation that is not currently available. Boronia has been designed to cater to this market,” Mr Tognolini said.
He said stage one of the Mounts Bay Village had been sold out with most apartments already occupied and 85 per cent of apartments in stage two had been sold prior to completion, due in June this year.
In stage three, 12 luxury apartments were sold within three weeks of coming on the market.
In total, the Boronia apartment building will comprise 20 three-bedroom and two-bathroom units, 42 two-bedroom and two-bathroom units and two single-bedroom apartments.
The Boronia apartments are being sold off the plans and construction will commence this month.
All apartments are scheduled for occupation by June 2000.
