New face for Messages on Hold

YOU know how it is. One minute you are the apple of someone’s eye, the next they’ve found someone else and moved on. It seems Messages on Hold founder and serial guerrilla marketing pest Kym Illman has done just that, dumping a very special lady in his life for a glamorous sports star. Aficionados of Mr Illman’s techniques might recall that a year or so ago, he had found pleasure in a new stunt – parking a life size and lifelike female mannequin in a sports car outside busy cafes and restaurants around town. It’s all part of his attention seeking behaviour, dressed up as marketing. But then he discovered former test cricketer Shane Warne and, well, the glamour lady got dumped. Mr Illman is now in the throes of ending the relationship once and for all. He’s got the mannequin up for sale for $8,000 which is a big discount on the $12,000 he reckons he paid for it.
