New crates help prevent lost files

CHESS Wilson Removals has introduced new technology to Perth that significantly reduces the risk of upsetting electronic equipment during office relocations and makes moving paper records easy.

Special protection for sensitive equipment such as PCs and copiers is provided in custom designed packing equipment.

For suspension files, lockable super-stack crates provide swift and easy packing, avoiding the use of time and resource-consuming cardboard archive boxes. The extra-strong crates enable files to be securely relocated without damage and placed in a new location with minimum disruption to those working with them.

Chess Wilson has also addressed the other commercial relocating nightmare – misplaced files.

A library trolley, file trolley and computer trolley provide specialised removal that minimises inconvenience and work disruption. Library relocations are sequentially catalogued on the trolley, making them easily accessible during relocation.

The company has developed a comprehensive archival storage service that provides secure, economical and easily accessible storage for files and records that are not needed on a regular basis. This facility has proved an economical storage option for businesses that pay premium prices for office space.

Chess Wilson Removals’ Wayne Walker says all the latest high tech equipment is of little use if the removal company does not have well-planned strategies in place well prior to moving day.

“Moving office has the potential to be a stressful time for businesses – there’s a chance that working files are mislaid or even lost, sensitive software becomes damaged and business life is interrupted often at crucial times,” Mr Walker said.

“We have been able to overcome that through the latest technology and having very stringent planning processes in place,” he said.
