New awards for arts leaders

ORGANISERS of the annual WA Business and the Arts Partnership Awards have launched two new leadership awards designed to recognise individuals from both the arts and the private sector who have made an exceptional contribution to the development arts and culture in WA. The two new awards join a broad range of categories aimed at acknowledging the achievements that have made between organisations and the arts community. Nominations for the awards program, organised by the Department of Culture and the Arts, opened on Friday and close on July 20.
