New Pajero range at Skipper Mitsubishi

MITSUBISHI’S Pajero has taken the next step in four-wheel driving with the release of its NM series.

The stylish new Pajero is available as a 5-door long wheelbase model with four price classes – GL, GLX, GLS and Exceed. All price classes have petrol or diesel engine variants.

Longer (+60mm), wider (+100mm) and lower overall (-35mm) than the model it replaces, the all-new Pajero has a monocoque body and fully independent suspension for improved on and off-road performance. In spite of its lower overall height, the new Pajero has a 20mm increase in ground clearance, while its turning circle has been reduced by 400mm.

The wider body width, with its larger wheelbase (+55mm) and front and rear track (+95mm and +80mm respectively) translates into more shoulder room for occupants and additional leg room for the driver and front passenger. Also, the lower floor height, which is the result of the monocoque body, allows easier ingress and egress for occupants.

Collision safety is considerably improved by the impact-absorbing crumple zones built into the body, and the highly rigid cabin with its strategic reinforcement.
