John Holland Pty Ltd, Halpern Glick Maunsell, Honeywell, McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust) Pty Ltd
Consortia headed by John Holland have won contracts for the design and construction of a desalination plant and water supply scheme for the Burrup Peninsula. John Holland and McConnell Dowell Constructors will provide the seawater infrastructure, while Halpern Glick Maunsell and Honeywell will deliver support in both contracts. Preliminary on-site work will commence in June and plant construction in 2004. The Water Corporation will own and operate the $20 million desalination plant. PG Watson's Engineering PG Watson’s Engineering has secured a sole exclusive supply agreement with Solahart Industries Pty Ltd. The engineering company will manufacture and provide component parts worth a total $1.5 million over three years. These parts will be manufactured using an automated bar feed machine PG Watson’s plans to install and commission next month. PG Watson’s Engineering is the trading name for Auridiam Limited subsidiary Auridiam Industrial Pty Limited.
