New Barron series to be based at Ten

BARRON Entertainment and Network Ten have agreed to base the production unit for its new children’s series, tentatively-titled Kat’s Eye, at Ten’s Dianella Heights facility.

A Network Ten spokesman said the sharing of facilities solidified Barron and Ten’s ongoing relationship for program development.

Recent Barron productions broadcast on Ten include Sweat and Fast Tracks.

The new production has been supported by investment from Screenwest.

Barron Entertainment managing director Paul Barron said the series had been pre-sold to RTV Family Entertainment in Germany and would be distributed internationally by Carlton International.
