New AAT office opens on the terrace
FEDERAL Attorney-General Philip Ruddock has officially opened the new office of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, on level five of the former AXA building at 111 St Georges Terrace. Formerly housed in the Quadrant Building at 1 William Street, the AAT has expanded its facilities to incorporate an additional hearing room and new audio and video conferencing facilities. The office also includes facilities for the disabled and families on the hearing room floor and provides accommodation for a WA member of the Migration Review Tribunal or the Refugee Review Tribunal.
