Australian real estate company Belle Property has opened its 143th office nationally, making its debut in Western Australia with an office in Broome.

Belle Property is a full-service franchise real estate company, with more than 2,000 staff across offices in Queensland, NSW, Victoria, South Australia (and now WA).

Founded in 2000 as a project marketing company, Belle Property relaunched in 2007 under a new franchise model, following its merge with real estate agency Hockingstuart.

Belle Property provides real estate services across the residential and commercial markets, including property management, largely focused on the middle to premium end of the market.

The company is also known for its Belle lifestyle magazine, published in partnership with Bauer Media.

Belle Property chief executive Peter Hanscomb said the surge in WA’s regional housing demand was one of the factors that influenced the brand’s expansion into Broome.

“The brand’s success in Australia’s key lifestyle locations made our entrance into the Western Australian market a natural strategic next step,” he said.

“Accessible property prices and job opportunities are ample in the region, so we expect to experience high growth in years to come, particularly for mid-market movers.”

Belle Property’s Broome office plans to cater to both the residential and commercial markets, led by principal Tamyla Strahan, who has lived in the area for 20 years and previously operated two real estate agencies.

Formerly a Ray White Derby principal, Ms Strahan has worked with large-scale developments and high net worth clientele.

Belle Property’s best-in-class service encapsulates the status of Broome’s luxury lifestyle history and entrepreneurial spirit,” Ms Strahan said.

“The region is not only an attractive hub for internal migration and holidaying; it is also a robust local economic centre driven by a tight-knit community that invests in itself.”
