NRW secures $63m contract from Rio

NRW Holdings Ltd has secured another contract from Rio Tinto Ltd subsidiary Hamersely Iron Pty Ltd for its Brockman 4 project, taking its total current works at the project to $132 million.

The latest contract for the Welshpool-based company includes the construction of earthworks, drainage and roadworks together with general civil works for certain areas of the project.

NRW said the value of works to be undertaken is around $63 million.

Last month the mining services company was awarded a $43 million contract for the Brockman rail line extension.
