NRW Holdings JV wins $101m deal

An NRW Holdings joint venture has been awarded a $101 million bulk earthworks contract for the Cape Lambert Port B project by Rio Tinto.

NRW and its joint venture partner, Ngarluma and Yindjibarndi Foundation, will provide bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage and miscellaneous civil works together with associated works for future stockpiles and a car dumper facility.

The contract has an 88-week duration, and will provide work for 196 NRW joint venture staff.

The joint venture previously completed remedial works to the Pannawonica Bridge for Rio Tinto in 2010.
