Ear Science Institute Australia is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to reducing the incidence of ear and hearing disorders by researching the causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of such disorders, in addition to helping the hearing impaired achieve physical and emotional independence. The institute was established in 2001 and has achieved some groundbreaking medical advancements in surgical techniques and the diagnosis and management of ear and hearing disorders. It relies on research grants, community donations and bequests for ongoing research and has a dedicated team of surgeons, researchers, clinicians and students.
