Amnesty International Australia is part of the global movement to defend human rights and dignity. The organisation works with people in Australia to demand respect for human rights and protect people facing abuse. To do this, AIA mobilises people, conducts campaigns and research and raises money for its projects. The organisation has a vision of a world in which every person enjoys all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights standards. AIA is concerned solely with the impartial protection of human rights.
