NFP board – Activ Foundation

Activ Foundation is the largest provider of services to people with intellectual disability in Western Australia, with more than 100 facilities throughout the state. The organisation was formed in 1951 by a group of parents who wanted to give their intellectually disabled children a better life. Until then, children with intellectual disability were institutionalised alongside men and women with mental illness. The organisation provides employment options, respite and home care, accommodation, travel and recreation services.
