Volunteering Western Australia is the peak body in Western Australia for volunteering. It provides a voice to Government and also to the national body Volunteering Australia. Volunteering Australia in turn provides the voice for issues that impact on volunteering across Australia.

One of Volunteering WA’s key events is the 2005 Community Compass conference that is to be held at the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle from March 2 to 4. Keynote speakers at the conference include Perth International Arts Festival artistic director Lindy Hume, Kings Park and Botanic Garden CEO Professor Steve Hopper and WA auditor general Des Pearson.
