Senses Foundation Founded in 1856 as the Royal WA Institute for the Blind, the Senses Foundation in Burswood has evolved to suit the changing needs of the state’s deaf and blind. Senses is a charitable, not-for-profit foundation and is the primary service provider and advocate for deafblind Western Australians and people who are vision impaired with an additional disability.
