Paraplegic Benefit Fund Australia The Paraplegic Benefit Fund Australia was founded in 1984 by the late Sir George Bedbrook, a world-renowned spinal surgeon who also founded the Department of Paraplegia, now called the Sir George Bedbrook Spinal Unit, at Royal Perth Hospital.
