Murray makes Choice for a bright future

Mr Sebbes said Mortgage Choice’s biggest challenge was to increase its WA market share to about 20 per cent.

As a banker, he said he found the industry’s obvious growth prospects attractive and had always been impressed by Mortgage Choice’s professionalism.

Mortgage Choice allowed people to choose from different lending providers, he said.

Mortgage originators could also act as a shop front for banks, which no longer had a presence in certain areas.

An obvious example was the ING group which did not have a shop presence in WA.

He said the Internet site was becoming increasingly popular as it allowed people to shop for a suitable loan.
