Mulholland appointed new Rox chief

IAN Mulholland has been appointed managing director of gold explorer Rox Resources.

With its initial public offering planned for February, Rox is focussing on exploring and developing the Menzies goldfield in Western Australia.

Mr Mulholland has more than 20 years experience in the exploration and mining industry including managing activities such as grass roots exploration to advanced resource definition and feasibility studies for companies such as WMC, Esso, Aurora Gold, Otter Gold and Summit Resources.

Most recently Mr Mulholland was technical director for Conquest Mining Limited and was responsible for re-focusing the companies gold and diamond exploration activities.
