Café del Corso is offering wood-fired pizzas the traditional Italian way as part of its two banquet-style menus. The three-course menu is $24 a person and the four-course $28 a person. Entrees include smoked salmon and Italian pizza bread. Main meals are appetising dishes ranging from tasty pasta to golden calamari rings. Tea and coffee are served with a selection of dessert cakes. Book your banquet for a Tuesday and Wednesday and receive a free bottle of champagne.

THE Pagoda Long Bar and Restaurant has a new chef. German-born Dirk Sigmann has spent the last six years as chef at the Burwood Resort Hotel. He has worked in five star hotels in Germany, Switzerland and Australia. The restaurant will have a new menu early next year.

A NEW light on the Perth night skyline will soon become evident on top of the Griffin Building. The four metres high by 20 metres long LumaSign will be the largest night sign on the Perth CBD skyline and is to be manufactured and installed by Lumacom for BGC (Australia). It will deliver high resolution, colour and full motion electronic display from one of the most prominent sites on the city skyline. Lumacom is confident that the sign will be captured on many photographs and appear on postcards.
