More than meets the eye

PERTH City Council and the National Trust may need a team of chiropractors on standby tomorrow when they launch their Look Up Perth campaign to focus attention on the city’s heritage charms. The parties want Perth’s workers and visitors to raise their eyes (and crane their necks in some cases) to the architectural wonders above street level. Those interested in a crash course in the city’s history can pick up a guide to these delights outside London Court from 11.30am, before joining a treasure hunt competition. During Celebrate WA week from October 14 to 21, the trust will also be running a number of guided Look Up walks around the city centre to encourage city workers out of the office.
