STAGE three of the $50 million Footprints Resort at Preston Beach has been released for sale by developer Rapley Wilkinson. The 17 strata-titled beach shacks and five townhouses are priced from $345,000 and are located around the resort’s second swimming pool. Designed by architect James Christou, the one- and two-bedroom units all feature a large timber deck with barbecue, air-conditioning and well-equipped kitchen and laundry. For an extra $14,000, buyers can choose to build a two-bedroom, two bathroom version. The 77 units in the first two stages sold out within a few weeks of release and construction of these is expected to be completed by mid-2008. PRDnationwide managing director of sales Angus Murray said the resort’s location south of Mandurah and the improved access provided by the new Perth to Bunbury Highway now under construction were significant factors in the strong sales interest. The resort will be professionally managed, and facilities include two heated swimming pools, tennis court, restaurant with alfresco dining and children’s playground.
