The agreement with the Port Hedland Port Authority confirms port access for the company's existing Spinifex Ridge iron ore reserve, and underwrites future iron ore cash flows that are crucial to achieve financing for the Spinifex Ridge molybdenum-copper project.
Moly Mines said it had begun assessing the levels of approvals required to support the possible infrastructure network required to expand production.
At 12:20PM (WST) Moly Mines shares had dipped 1.8 per cent, to trade at $1.06.
