Shares in copper explorer MOD Resources closed higher on promising drill results at the company’s T3 copper operation in Botswana.
As part of a pre-feasibility study, Perth-based Mod undertook a resource infill drilling program, which resulted in a 75-metre down hole width intersection with multiple intervals of copper sulphides starting at 247 metres, about 35 metres below the T3 resource.
“To intersect another wide zone of mineralisation within a year of the initial recovery, confirms the potential to move this exciting project to a new level,” Mod managing director Julian Hanna said.
“T3 keeps delivering positive news and has never missed a beat since the impressive discovery hole of 52 metres at 2 per cent copper and 32 grams per tonne silver in March 2016.”
Mod shares were 15.3 per cent higher to 4.5 cents each at the close.
