Mirvac launches Highland Reserve

Development giant Mirvac has unveiled its latest Western Australian residential community, the $75 million Highland Reserve at Jane Brook.

The estate will feature a mix of homesites, including 287 traditional blocks ranging from 435 square metres to 704sqm, and 63 bushland lots ranging from 2000sqm to 1.9 hectares.

Mirvac WA chief executive Evan Campbell said its position within five kilometres of the Perth International Airport would make it attractive to fly-in fly-out workers.

"It is an ideal location, close to the city for those who work in the CBD and just a short distance from the airport for regular travellers," he said.

"It is also nearby some of Western Australia's most popular attractions, including the Swan Valley wine region, cultural Midland Town Centre and the Avon River, which leads to the Swan River."

Mirvac will plant around 3,500 plants in the nearby Susannah Valley nature reserve to offset the development's impact on Carnaby's Black Cockatoo.
