Mining Technology Conference
On Tuesday May 25 to Thursday May 27 RIU Conferences is holding the RIU Breaking New Ground Mining Technology Conference, at the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle.

The conference has been designed to examine the latest technology and practical innovations and the application in the field of new technology in Australia's mining industry, while also providing networking opportunities for the exchange of technical information.

Topics that will be covered during the conference include, database technologies; geological software; geophysical software; robotics and remote control technologies; process control; maintenance systems; accounting systems; and safety systems.

Keynote speakers at the conference include Gold Fields – Finland vice president Ian Stalker, who will provide a global perspective of mining and processing technology; Midas Resources Limited managing director Rhod Grivas, who will provide a junior explorers perspective of mining and exploration technology; Geosoft Australia technical resources manager Tim Millis who will speak about exploration essentials and integrated technologies; and Newexco Mining and Exploration Services managing director Bill Amann, who will discuss breaking new ground with EM technology.
