Millepede tools up

MILLEPEDE International has commissioned a new production tool for its European subsidiary that is designed to make the production process more efficient.

The re-tooling has been called for due to a sustained sales increase from that region for this financial year.

In the first four months the sales figures from that region have exceeded the whole of last year.

That trend has continued into November and required emergency orders to be placed, increasing strain on the company’s current capacity levels.

“As well as reducing our cost base and supply times into that region, the increased capacity prepares us for additional developments and agreements we are close to achieving in the US market,” Millepede managing director John Butterworth said.
