Merger means WA presence

BRISBANE-based software development company Medical Spectrum has opened in WA.

Medical Spectrum managing director Ian Threlfall said the company opened an office in Nedlands during May following a merger with Medsoft Pty Ltd, a Perth-based distributor for the health IT sector.

Medical Spectrum has also expanded the range of products in its healthcare management system.

It now has products for both Windows and Macintosh platforms that include fully integrated systems for appointments, billing and accounting information, medical records, diagnostic results and reporting.

Medical Spectrum also recently merged with Bundaberg-based Genie Solutions Pty Ltd.
