Merged business to the target top end

WESTERN Australian-based multi-platform real estate agency Asset Domain has merged with Dempsey Real Estate to create an integrated real estate company specialising in the top-end property market.

Both companies have a strong presence in the Perth real estate market – Dempsey Real Estate has been operating for 12 years and Asset Domain for five years.

Significant projects Dempsey Real Estate has been involved in include the Freeway Hotel redevelopment and The Westralian development on Terrace Road.  Asset Domain has managed projects such as Miami Apartments in Bellevue Terrace and the Bay Claremont development.

Asset director Marc Drexel said the merger would take advantage of the companies’ extensive experience in all facets of real estate.

Mr Drexel said the companies’ services would now cover all client requirements, from sales to the branding and marketing of land and high-rise development facilitation to asset disposal programs for government departments.

He said the two companies had the same synergy, specialising in residential and commercial real estate, developments, and property investment in the premium sector.

“We are both non-parochial and take a holistic approach to our clients’ needs,” Mr Drexel said.

He said the strength of their pooled resources, research database and systems strongly positioned the merged company in the highly competitive Perth real estate environment.

Dempsey Real Estate managing director Mal Dempsey said the merger fitted in with future plans to build the company’s presence in the inner city and riverfront locations at the high end of the market.

Mr Drexel said the transition would take place by the end of March and would be business as usual for clients.

Under the merger plan, Asset Domain will relocate from its Subiaco location into Dempsey Real Estate headquarters in South Perth. Once merged, the firm will trade under the Dempsey title, however brand name change is expected.

Mr Drexel said a number of exciting projects were in the wings and that, despite national media portrayals of the west coast market, the Perth real estate market remained sound.
