LOCAL media company Data & Commerce Ltd has announced a deal with the Macquarie Radio Network to deliver a news service in Melbourne.The Macquarie news will replace Southern Cross news, sourced out of 3AW in Melbourne.

The Macquarie news will replace Southern Cross news, sourced out of 3AW in Melbourne.

DCL’s radio operations Talk 116 3AK and Radio 3MP have entered into a deal with Macquarie to deliver a specialised news service, including local content for the Melbourne market.

The Macquarie national news is a well-respected news brand, according to DCL managing director Jeff Chatfield. DCL is a public company that specialises in broadcasting and the deployment of digital broadcast infrastructure, including wireless broadcasting and fibre networks.
