Lands Minister Terry Redman has announced that LandCorp chief financial officer Frank Marra has been promoted to chief executive officer.

Mr Marra succeeds former CEO Ross Holt, who stepped down at the end of 2013 after two decades in the top job.

Mr Redman said Mr Marra had proven his ability to work across a range of LandCorp departments, including business development, strategy, corporate functions, and commercial financial roles at a leadership level.

“He has acted as chief executive at various times and has worked effectively with the LandCorp board, ministers, government partners, contractors and industry associations,” he said.

Before his career at LandCorp Mr Marra held roles at the Department of Treasury and the Department of Housing.

He was awarded chief financial officer of the year in 2012 by the Institute of Public Administration Australia (Western Australia), and in 2013 completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University.
