Marlston Hill rewarded

THE transformation of Marlston Hill has been given an Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA) award for excellence.

In 1998, the project was named the best country development by the UDIA.

Developed by Land-Corp, with support from the South West Development Commission and the City of Bunbury, Marlston Hill has transformed thirty hectares of derelict industrial land into a cosmopolitan port

village linking Bunbury’s CBD back to the waterfront.

The UDIA judges said the Marlston Hill redevelopment had had a positive impact on the Bunbury CBD, acting as a catalyst for change.
