In 1998, the project was named the best country development by the UDIA.

Developed by Land-Corp, with support from the South West Development Commission and the City of Bunbury, Marlston Hill has transformed thirty hectares of derelict industrial land into a cosmopolitan port

village linking Bunbury’s CBD back to the waterfront.

The UDIA judges said the Marlston Hill redevelopment had had a positive impact on the Bunbury CBD, acting as a catalyst for change.
