Marine manager

The position involves developing and implementing strategic business plans, business development, bid and risk management, as well as having management responsibility for the operational aspects of the business unit. Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or commercial discipline are required, as are significant management experience within a defence, marine, oil and gas, or large scale-engineering project environment.

Reporting to the managing director, the role encompasses the successful acquisition and delivery of goals and objectives encompassing design, quality, client management and profitability across local and international projects. The company is looking for a tertiary level engineers, ideally with post graduate qualifications in business with 15 years’ postgraduate experience.

Mining for engineers

AUSTRALIAN Mining Consultants is recruiting senior mining engineers to cope with the demand for its mine planning and exploration services. The company has positions for two senior mining engineers with 10 years’ experience. AMC director Laurie Gillett said the company was looking for engineers with significant underground mining experience to work on its mine design and estimations projects. The company is also seeking to recruit open pit engineers.
